Ellen Rosenberg of Northfield, a board member of Elyssa’s Mission, recently helped bag shopper’s groceries at Whole Foods Market Wednesday, March 23rd as part of a special Elyssa’s Mission Fundraising Day. Whole Foods donated 5% of their gross sales for that day to Elyssa’s Mission. Elyssa’s Mission is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to educating and preventing suicide among at-risk teens. Currently, over 35 local area junior high and high schools actively participate in Elyssa’s Mission’s prevention programs. |

New Trier High school Sophomore Leah Neustadt and her father, Robert Neustadt, a board member of Elyssa’s Mission, recently had the opportunity to work side by side bagging groceries together at Whole Foods Market in Northbrook, Wednesday, March 23, 2011 for a cause close to their hearts. Whole Foods donated 5% of their gross sales for that day to Elyssa’s Mission. Recalls Rob Neustadt, “It was a great day meeting people and then Whole Foods donated a generous sum to our mission. Very rewarding. |
